Does an energy infrastructure project in Ireland need an EIA?
It depends on the project type, size and location. Larger projects, or those likely to have significant effects, need an Environmental Impact Assessment report. Verdé can screen your project and advise.
What is an Appropriate Assessment?
An Appropriate Assessment checks whether a plan or project could harm a European protected site (Natura 2000). It is required where significant effects cannot be ruled out at screening.
